Last year we started late but were blessed with a huge crop of tomatoes, peppers, corn, watermelon and potatoes - white and sweet. The onions and garlic were very prolific. Then there were the mulberries, cherries and apples but that is another blog. So I canned and froze produce until I couldn't see straight. Most of that was new for me so I learned much and I hope to share those experiences this month. I plan to post recipes, hints, gardening ideas and get some good information in return from readers. As I get the seeds planted, there will be photos and a pdf of my gardening journal.
